What to Expect
Children who have positive dental office experiences are less likely to fear the dentist in the future. Parents can help their child have a good experience by being calm and natural when discussing it with their child. Take a moment to browse our website or Facebook with your child before they visit so they know what to expect. We do our part by providing a super fun office environment, gentle care, and loving your kids!
Your child’s first visit usually includes:
- Examining teeth for cavities, and checking the health of the gums
- Education and enforcement of good oral health habits
- Based on the exam, X-rays may be recommended or taken
- At this or the next appointment, your child’s teeth are cleaned and a fluoride treatment may be given
If further treatment is necessary, options will be discussed.
